TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD LUNGE FORWARD WHEN IDLING OR BRAKING TO A STOP. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES OVER A TWO WEEK TIME FRAME. THE FUEL PUMP AND THE HEADS WERE REPLACED BUT THE FAILURE PERSISTED. WHEN SECURING THE BASE INTO THE CAR VIA THE LATCH SYSTEM, THE BUTTON THAT SECURES THE TETHER (WHEN PULLING THE STRAP TIGHT) GOT STUCK IN THE POPPED UP/OPEN POSITION AND DID NOT LOCK THE STRAP. REQUIRED MANUAL MANIPULATION OF THE BUTTON IN ORDER TO RETURN TO THE CLOSED/DOWN POSITION AND HOLD THE TETHER. ENDED UP SECURING THE SEAT VIA THE SEAT BELT.
