THE CONTACT STOPPED THE VEHICLE ON THE SHOULDER AND NOTICED DAMAGE TO THE FRONT TIRES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTO MECHANIC FOR REPAIRS AFTER THE INSURANCE COMPANY INSPECTED THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND COVERED THE BUMPER REPAIR BUT DID NOT COVER THE REPLACEMENT OF THE TIRES. ADDITIONALLY, THE FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE POWER SEAT ADJUSTMENT SWITCHES WOULD NOT FUNCTION. THE TECHNICIAN ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE WIRING HAD TO BE CLEANED. THE WIRING WAS CLEANED BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE BUMPER DAMAGE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE POWER SEAT SWITCH WAS NOT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. WHILE TURNING LEFT AT APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CONTINUED TO FUNCTION AND THE OIL WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AS IT RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION. THE FAILURE RECURRED THREE TIMES. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 73,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 74,000.
