WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE THE LOW TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT CAME ON, I CHECKED AND FOUND MY FRONT TIRE LOOKED LOW. I WENT TO UNSCREW THE VALVE CAP AND IT KEPT TURNING, UPON FURTHER INSPECTION I FOUND THE METAL VALVE STEM WAS CRACKED AND THE SCHRADER VALVE WAS ONLY BEING HELD IN BY A BURR FROM THE CRACKED METAL STEM. AT THAT POINT I WAS UNABLE TO PUT ANY AIR INTO THE TIRE. THE POTENTIAL FOR THE SCHRADER TO JUST BLOW OUT OF THE STEM AND CAUSE INSTANT DEFLATION OF THE TIRE IS WHY I AM REPORTING THIS. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER 300. WHILE PARKED, THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO MOVE THE GEAR SHIFTER TO DRIVE BUT THE GEAR SHIFTER WAS STUCK IN PARK. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTICS WHERE THE TECHNICIAN ADVISED THAT THE INTERNAL SHIFT PLATE ASSEMBLY WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 64,000.
