TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH AND ENGAGED THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE AUTOMATIC SEAT POSITIONING MECHANISM. SUDDENLY THE LEFT SIDE OF THE SEAT ACTIVATED TO A HIGHER LEVEL AND THE RIGHT SIDE FAILED TO RESPOND. THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THAT THE WELDING ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE SEAT DETACHED WHICH RESULTED TO THE FAILURE. THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED AND THEY INFORM THAT THERE WAS NOT A RECALL RELATED TO THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 140,580.
