SECOND GEAR GRIND . 2011 CAMARO LS. SIX SPEED TRANSMISSION. SECOND GEAR GRIND OCCURS WITH EVERY UP SHIFT OR DOWN SHIFT . THIS OCCURS DURING ACCELERATION AND DECELERATION. AT TIMES CAR WILL NOT GO INTO SECOND GEAR AT ALL CAUSING CONCERN FOR SAFETY . I HAVE CONTACTED GM WHO HAS ADDRESSED THE ISSUE ONCE BUT THE REPAIR WAS MADE WITH THE SAME DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS. THE ISSUE RETURNED AFTER 3,000 MILES. THE ATTEMPTED REPAIR WAS. SYNCHRONIZERS, NEW FIRST AND SECOND GEARS, BALL BEARINGS AND FORKS. AGAIN AFTER 3,000 MILES THE GRIND AND SECOND GEAR FAILURE HAS RETURNED AND WHAT APPEARS TO BE WORSE THEN THE FIRST TIME. MY CAR HAS NOT BEEN MODIFIED AND IS FULL STOCK. *TR |
