MY CAR'S TRANSMISSION DID NOT COME OUT OF PARK AT A LARGE GAS STATION. THE CAR COULD NOT BE MOVED BUY ANY MEANS. AFTER SEVERAL PHONE CALLS TO VARIOUS REPAIR SHOPS I WAS TOLD THAT THE BRAKE INTERLOCK PIN WOULD NOT RELEASE. I WAS TOLD THAT GM DID NOT BUILD AN OVERRIDE INTO THE SHIFTER. AFTER 1 PLUS HOURS OF TRYING THE PIN FINALLY RELEASED. BY NOT PUTTING THE CAR IN PARK I GOT THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP. THEY SAID THAT THE PART WAS SUPERSEDED TWICE. THE PART FAILED THREE TIMES BEFORE IT WAS REPAIRED. THE CAR COULD HAVE LOCKED UP IN A MORE DANGEROUS SITUATION THAN MINE. *TR

PURCHASED 2006 BUICK LUCERNE, JUNE 24,2006 FROM SCOTT BUICK, OF PINELLAS PARK, FL. WE DROVE IT DOWN THE ROAD 4 MILES AND TURNED BACK TO RETURN IT TO DEALER . THE STEERING WAS PULLING TO THE RIGHT REAL BAD. DEALERS SERVICE DEPT CHECKED THE MECHANICS OF THE STEERING AND COULD FIND ANY REASON FOR THE PULLING TO THE RIGHT. RELEASED IT TO US ON JUNE 26,AND AFTER A COUPLE MILES DOWN THE ROAD WE PROMPTLY RETURNED AGAIN TO THE DEALER. THEY LOOKED FOR A GM BULLETIN REGARDING THIS PROBLEM THIS TIME, THEY SERVICED IT ACCORDING TO THE BULLETIN SPEC'S, ON THE 28TH. THAT DID NOT CORRECT THE PROBLEM TOTALLY THIS MAKES 3 TIMES IT WAS IN SERVICE FOR THIS PROBLEM. THE STEERING PROBLEM STILL EXIST AS OF TODAY JULY 22, 2006 THIS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED A SAFETY PROBLEM WITH THE AUTO. *NM
