DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE SETTING THE CRUISE CONTROL THE VEHICLE SURGES FORWARD 5 TO 7 MPH. DUE TO THIS PROBLEM THE VEHICLE TAKES 15 TO 30 SECONDS TO RETURN TO THE SET SPEED. THIS IS AN INTERMITTENT PROBLEM THAT OCCURS UNDER ALL DRIVING CONDITIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION, WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THIS WAS THE WAY THE VEHICLE WAS DESIGNED. UPDATED 7/11/2006 - DRIVER'S SIDE MIRROR FOGGED UP. THE FUEL GAUGE WOULD MOVE TO FULL. WIND WAS COMING THROUGH THE SIDE OF THE WINDSHIELD. THE LIGHT TO ILLUMINATE THE INSTRUMENT PANEL WERE NOT BRIGHT ENOUGH. *NM

THE WARNING LIGHT CAME ON AND STATED SERVICE STABILITRAC AND THEN WENT OFF.TWO WEEKS LATER CAME ON AGAIN, AND WENT OFF.THE CAR BEGAN TO SHAKE AND VIBRATE AS BRAKES WERE APPLIED WHEN STOPPING.ABOUT A MONTH AFTER THAT THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON AND THE CAR BEGAN APPLYING THE BRAKES AT A SPEED OF ABOUT 50 MILES PER HOUR AND MAKING A NOISE THAT WAS LOUD ENOUGH TO HEAR AS IT SOUNDED LIKE THE PRESSING OF THE BRAKES TO THE WHEEL HUBS.MY WIFE AND DAUGHTER AND I TURNED AROUND WENT BACK HOME AND PARKED THE CAR AND DROVE MY TRUCK TO VISIT OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS THAT DAY.TWO WEEKS LATER I TOOK THE BUICK 2006 LUCERNE TO HAVE A GM CERTIFIED MECH PUT IT ON THE DIAGNOSTIC MACHINE AND THE REPORTED THAT NOTHING SHOWED UP AS NEEDING REPLACED. *TR
