TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 BMW 750LI. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE BRAKING AT ANY SPEED, THE VEHICLE WOULD JERK AND EXPERIENCE AN INCREASED STOPPING DISTANCE. THE FAILURE RECURRED WHENEVER THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED, AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 10V446000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:POWER ASSIST:VACUUM). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 107,000. UPDATED 09/15/11*LJ THE CONSUMER STATED HE IS ALSO HAVING PROBLEMS GETTING RECALL 09V384000 AIR:FRONTAL RECTIFIED BY BMW. I HAVE A 1997 740IL BMW THIRD OWNER 228,000. I START TO NOTICE IN APRIL OF 2011 THAT WHEN I FUEL THE CAR UP THAT WHEN REMOVING THE GAS CAP THERE WAS A HISSING SOUND. A COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER IT STARTED LEAKING FUEL WHEN I LOOK UNDER THE CAR I SEEN THAT THE FUEL TANK ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE WAS CRUSH IN AND HAD A HOLE IN IT. I HAVE PARK THE CAR TILL I HAVE THE MONEY TO REPAIR IT. I HAVE NOT RUN OVER ANYTHING NOR HAS THE EVER BEEN IN A CRASH AND HAS BEEN KEEP VERY WELL. *TR
